Free Game for Kindle

Amazon has a free game for the Kindle, called Thread Words . I got it the other day, and I really like it. You start with four columns and four rows of letters, and "thread" the letters together to create words. There are shapes in columns down each side of the letter grid, and when you create words beginning and ending with the letters and match the shapes, you move to the next level. It has that extra challenge in making your words in the time allotted, while matching the shapes. If you don't clear all of the shapes, you do not move on to the next level. There is also an option of playing without a timer, but  I think it is more fun to have the timer.

My husband got me a Kindle for Valentines Day this year, and I absolutely love it! I check for new free content every few days, and I usually get several new books or games. I have the $139 model, but my wonderful hubby also got the lighted leather cover for me, and it is great! I think it was worth the cost, because I have not paid for any of the 600 books (and handful of games) that I have downloaded. There are thousands of classics for free, and new books all the time. I have even downloaded history, astronomy, American History and many other textbooks. If you don't have a Kindle, it's my recommendation for you to get one! I take mine with me everywhere, and always have books to read. You can also use online readers or apps for phones to get these books and games, if you don't have a Kindle.
